Jeff - Almost waterproof.. This is rated IPX7 or

"An IPX7 designation means the GPS case can withstand accidental immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. An IPX8 designation is for continuous underwater use"

I always see you flying 30feet up so this will not be a problem.. :)

jeff has the foretrex 201... costs a little more, adds WAAS (more accurate signal) , and has a few more views like compass and velocity made good. for most casual users, I think the cheaper forerunner works well. plus you can go jogging or cycling with it.
