I'll bring an umbrella and some hotdogs and burger meat. I guess that would make me responsible for buns too. It would be nice to know a head count though. Also, can't you drink there legally if you have a permit? I remember hearing this after that guy got a $200 ticket for drinking at the beach last year.

Yuri-Hot dogs, hamburger meat, some buns. perhaps a 6 pack of non domestic beer.

Hey congrats to all your ladies for having carried your new boys through the longest winter I can remember and delivering them into the windy season!

It looks like it may actually be a relatively decent day today. I have my kids with me and am thinking about heading out to Meda later...we still on?

They're calling for scattered showers, so we'll see. All is not lost!

I did arrange for the reservation and beer permit. Just wanted to see how many kiting families would want to get together. The only catch is you have to reserve in advance and cannot cancel the week before. So we picked a day and hoped for the best. Let's see forecast they come up with tonight.

The East Bay Regional Parks are pretty reasonable. I believe if it's raining we can reschedule. They don't have a policy on wind ;-)

Lets do it regardless, I will bring a huge tarp and we can tie it up in the trees if we have to. Or we can all eat under our kites.
