So, how'd it go for everyone at Alameda today? I guess it's probably pouring rain now. huh? I'm coming back up from Santa Barbara in a day or two, but maybe just coming home to lots of rain?

It was windy today.... better than last week though... less rain in the AM...

The sensor said winds were never above 30...but they made it up there in the gusts...

Today I got to ride the 10m Turbo Diesel and 9m Switchblade back to back. Both are great kites...

The TD is more sensitive.... nimble, and has a good low and top end.... so fast it takes some skill to fly....

The SB is stable, easy to fly, and has a decent range... The SB flies more like a C kite.. but still has the bow benefits... not quite as fast as the TD, but still totally adequate... not a slow kite, just more stable... seems like an ideal kite for people getting started...
