And if today is anything like two weeks ago, you'll have it all to yourself :)

It's still early, but it sure seems like they blew the forecast again. East wind all over the bay.

It is very S at the Alameda beach... almost kiteable now

want it

good

I prefer the high tide, is the sun out.

I do not like the underwater obsticals out from the shack, or the walk out.

its drizzalling herein marine with low over cast.

Alameda Update - Currently Large Kiteable

Looks like the forecast has been slightly downgraded... The Oakland Airport forecast at 10am said

winds SSE at 14mph until 3:00, then shifting to SW at 14mph...potential for light rain showers all day...

Water right now is pretty flat because the Bayfarm point is blocking any waves... There isn't alot of beach right now... pretty high tide... in 6 hours water will be almost 9 feet lower

Charlie is out on a 12m.... Looks like he is not quite keeping to weather....

good day

yes

Well got there at 12:30 and went out on the 16m for about an hour steady wind almost perfectly powered, hard to stay up wind when it backed off now and then.

Eight kiters out , no rain while I was there gone by 3:15 and looked like some more rain was starting to fall.

Lots of hardcore riders out today... I counted about 15 kites on the water at one point... Turned out to be a really light day... was much better earlier in the day...

I had a good times on the Glide and a 12m Turbo Diesel until the wind dropped down to 7mph... I think the lowest ridable windspeed with my setup is 8mphs, but that it actually gets fun at 10mph+.
