I saw this in todays paper. It appears we all might have been getting hosed. That is if you have a board made with carbon fiber.

My Underground FLX has a few carbon fiber strips running lengthwise, but they're from NZ. ;)

Not a big deal.
Most of the cost of your kiteboarding product is in labor, not materials.
It's just like beer and bread: you can make them cheaper yourself, but you end up spending many many hours doing so and coming out with a so-so product.
Mmmm beer. :drinkers:
