To my new found tribe...Am on my first season , took lessons with Nat but really got going in Brazil...Just got back last week and am don't want to be stoped by winter...Looking for fellow kiteboarders that are willing to help a newbie. All my kiting was done at SI till Brazil, but would like to try the bay area...Apreciate any replies.

Your best bet is to wait until next spring. Winter kiting is storm kiting, which is advanced territory. The wind is very strong, off and on, and gusty. Also, you need to be able to drop work any time of day to go kite. And get a thicker wetsuit, with a hood.

See you in the spring...
