Hello,

Very nice video. How much does charge CVS in order for them to give you a DVD with the results?

If one hacks a cable, is the camera reusable?

That's pretty sick. It would be awesome to mount one on the Type Wave to hit some fatty kite loops. Hopefully the camera would be mounted securely enough that it wouldn't be absolutely flung out of it's mount.

Nice.

I think ~12 bucks.

Yep and the hack is easy to do - a bit of soldering and the software
is simple to install and use. There are rumors of unhacked firmware upgrades
on newer models - check this site for details:

fatty kite loops ... Hopefully the camera would be mounted securely enough
Long as you don't smack it - could be interesting video...

I almost got a wireless video link to try this but i couldnt figure out if it was worth the money. Have you seen the old trailer for Naish? At the end of it they had a camera shot where the camewra is always level, yet always faces down. I still cant figure this out. It is really quite complicated if you stop and think about it because if you were to have a camera on a gimbal that was always plumb, the camera would always be shooting parallel to the horizon. Somehow they did it such that the camera could spin in a loop but was always level wit the horizon rotationaly but always pointing at the rider. If you know how they do this please let me know. I would love to play with the idea more.

Yuri,
Do you think they might have used a gyroscope??? I have not seen the footage you speak of. but that is my two cents.
