gabe iam not spelling it right "crolls" but the bar at the corner of webster and centrol in alameda had a newspaper on the wall about a great white attack at crown beach i think it was way back when there was a board walk type park there in the 1800.

Didn't a gray whale named Humphrey swim up the delta to Rio Vista about ten years ago?

Great White in Alameda? (Must be a low-wind day since we're readin' fish tales.) Pigs can fly, the check's in the mail, I won't...

Sorry. I wish it were windy. I will wear my shark repellent at the Crown now though.
Go bigga'

Plenty of attacks in Humboldt. They must smell the THC. :)

Not long ago on the Mendocino coast, late 2004 maybe, a guy was diving for abalone and got attacked. His buddy saw some of it happen. The guys body washed up headless. His head showed up a few days later.

When in season, I'd be happy to get it in a coastal restaurant myself...

...Sharkphobia Charlie....Sharkphobia.... :|

I found it interesting to see that San Mateo had 8, always hoped that the water at 3rd is ugly enough to keep those guys away - but well....
