I just read 4 pages on this forum about the rapture, and I still dont know how the 06 rapture performs. I think that some people on this forum spend to much time bashing other kite companies and not enough time riding their own kites.
The point of this awesome web site is to share ideas and to come together as only the kiteboarding community can, no matter what brand of kite you like to fly.

I would not support a company that rips off inventors.

Of course consumers should care about such things.

(I have no idea where WW stands in all this ... but patents are a good thing!)
It's not that at all, patents are a good thing. FYI, here's the info on the WW designs from the source:

"Regarding the '06 Rapture, there are no features which are patentable - all have been done in many ways in the past. We have only applied a unique blend to commonly practiced kite-design techniques. The original patent also does not apply to the Rapture (or other Windwing kites) as the canopy geometry is not part of a spherical surface which is a primary claim of this patent."

So there you go. "Guest" users - please help this forum by refraining from posting erroneous info promote your commercial agenda.
