water in LE bladder

so while doing a self rescue from the bushes at SI I had to deflate the leading edge and swim out of the cuts unfortunately I didn't close the valves back up so, of course, water got in the bladder. My question is whether it's bad to have the bladder internals wet and what to do to dry it out if it's even worth it.

It happens... not a big deal..

Pump up your LE bladder almost full, set in sun for an hour or so, let air out, refill, wait an hour, let air out and repeat untilit is dry...

I don't think it is a huge issue to have a little water in the bladder..

make sure when you pump up leading edge w/h20 inside, don't pump to firm (as water will evaporate and expand). You don't want the whole LE to burst.

Also, when you let air out of leading edgee, make sure the vavle is pointing to the ground so that any remaining drops of water can exit as you let air out.

Having h20 in bladder is a drag as it will make your kite feel heavy, and possibly turn to one side on it's own.

Good winds, Zeev.
