Yes, today was a very special day indeed. The waves were/are BIG  , really big. Definately not a day to have anything go wrong in the line up.......So big it takes a while to drop from top to the bottom.....such a rush....you set your rail and drop, drop, drop.....carve back up the monster as it's pitching and heaving....
I was enjoying the conditions at a spot south of you Ollie, and it was one of the BEST Days of the year no question. The full moon rising as the sun set was really special.....The light at that time of the day is something else....everything gets more depth to it....it's sick to drop down a wave, and because the wave is so big and the sun so low, you actually drop into darkeness....set the rail hard, carve up the massive wall of moving water, as as you smack the lip and throw some spray, the water turns golden from the setting sun....pretty sick day.
We are very lucky to live in a place where you can get that type of session on 10/15....
Good wind + waves, Zeev.

Nice! O:)
Let's hope we get a few more special days before the month is over. Come November, I think things will quiet down a bit, but we will still, on occasion, have those awesome storm and clearing days in store for us where many have fun, some pay some dues, the winds can harsh, powerfully gusty and short-lived but it's just enough to tide us over throughout the winter.
