Berkeley Kite Festival this weekend

Just a heads-up that the Berkelely Kite Festival is going on both days this weekend from 11-5.
No kiteboarding, but there will be kite-buggying and kite-duels, some manufacturers, and apparently an attempt at a record size kite.
It gets crowded, and although no admission fee there will be a parking fee.

I've always been surprised about how few stunt-kiters and kite-buggy people have gotten into kiteboarding. Maybe they don't like the water?

Anyway, might be a good post-session activity and could be cool to see some old-school kiting.

Yeah, we need Charlie to represent!

I went last year, and I was like, "where are the kiteboarders?"

If you make it, you'll have a pretty huge audience for your boosting, Charlie, all those folks sitting on the hill facing the water. Like a big amphitheater.
