Rio Vista

Anyone know how the raw sewage waste spill at Rio Vista on 7/27/05 near the levy will affect Sherman Island? It was on the news in Sac. yesterday and from the camera shots it looked like you could see the bridge in the background. :(

This happened on Wed.........I kited there on Wed and did not notice the water any cleaner/diretier then normal.....as always, it's not advised to DRINK the water of the river.
It's a big body of water and lot's of water moves through every day w/the tide.
In any case, when you come in hot from a transition, don't drink the water.

Yeah, well I went anyway. I talked to some other people who kited on Weds. before I left and they were like, "What?".
Is it still drinking when water is forced down your nose?
Nice, huge swell for a while today. The wind was kinda funky, though. Up and down all afternoon and holey. Can't think of anyplace else I rather would have been, though.
