I noticed this thread a bit late but we have customers that have their Type ZH 16m as their main kite on south Cal and use it in 12 to 20+mph winds.
I find the boost far superior that the Type Z 16m, and the kite is very agile and speedy for its size. I highly recommend the Type ZH 16m kite.
The other 16m that has been very successful this year has been the 2005 Caution 16m.
