Dewey,
I was out in the swell north of the lake, out by the big green (or is it red) channel marker, from like 12:30 until 2:30. I love those buttery big "waves". I launched from little Baja(no waiting), so I wasn't on the beach. I did a few loops through the lake, but didn't see you. IT was pretty easy to spot anyone who wasn't on a SS.

When I saw Charlie, he was cruising downwind from someplace way upwind. Are there some more tules up there? I thought "the tules" was that patch at the entrance to the lake that everyone is always jumping over.

I was going to keep going upwind, but then a boat came through dragging a windsurfer, and I got a little freaked out about how far out from the beach I was.

Paul

Awesome photos! They're actually better than watching some of these folks when I'm out on the water, what with having to watch my kite, wipe the spray out of my eyes, etc.

It's great to get the full perspective -- kiter and kite, in some of those photos.

Some of the shredders at SI are going to have to work on their "looks", though, if Byron's going to stick around this week. How about "Blue Steel"?
