I have just gotten wind (no pun intended) of some sort of "reunion vacation" being planned by some friends of mine. Since both my wife and I were on the list, I imagine they expect us to come. So, it looks like it's in (or near) Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. Does anyone know what the conditions are there, and if it's a valid site for kiteboarding? I'm just breaking in to the sport, but at this point I cannot imagine a vacation involving a beach that doesn't include kiteboarding. This might be a deal-breaker for me.

I was there in November one year and no wind in site. I think they do have a windy season but it is peaking right now from what I read.
