Big thanks once again to Jeff & Emily Ruoss at Kite Wind Surf and the North Kiteboarding team, Will James, John Amundson and company for putting together this awesome event.

We'll write up some info on the complete story and post some pictures soon!

Thanks to everyone who participated, let's try and organize more events like this in the future!

I missed the event, was at Sherman.
BUT
Caught the North guys at the shop on sunday. They were tired,but couldn't be nicer, and took a lot of time to discuss the products and they were of major help.

Don't own a North, but talked my buddy into 2 after I demo'd my father in-laws in OC. (Admittedly I have not converted yet, My Best's are still in good shape and a 20 hellfish on order.) But it will likley be NORTH for me next... great guys, great team, great product.

Yes! Thank you Jeff, Emily, Will and John for a truly memorable event! Images: Foggy but lit launch at Crissy. Shooting a hole through a regatta traffic jam. Charlie taking off like a banshee. 40+ kites emerging from the fog near Alcatraz. Ollie doing his double-back-flip thing at altitude - somewhere in the middle of the bay. Chip, riding up to within a few feet of some big sailing rig asking for (and getting) a beer. Is that legal? Bob skipping over huge rollers down the slot - especially near TI. LMG ripping it as usual. Everyone landing everywhere, and some feeling a sense of accomplishment. Cold beer. Friends. Good times.
