2005 Baja Boarder Bash[/align]

West Coast Kiteboarding, in partnership with The Kiteboarder Magazine, is announcing a kiteboarding vacation weekend in San Quintin, Baja California. Professional kiteboarders including Chuck Patterson, Bri Chmel, Mike Norman and Corky Cullen, will be in attendance. Various kiteboarding manufacturers will also be on hand to display and demo the latest available kiteboarding gear. So far, Caution, Liquid Force and Slingshot have confirmed. Kiteboarding lessons and clinics will be available.

San Quintin is located approximately 200 miles south of the border on the Pacific side of Baja. This event will be based at the San Quintin La Pinta Hotel, located on the beach south of town. The hotel features a bar, restaurant, and satellite TV. Non-kiteboarding friends and family can watch all the action from the large balconies. Reservations may be made at 1-800-800-9632. A discount is available to trip participants. The hotel is a four to five hour drive from San Diego, located just two miles from the Mexican Highway 1.

An organized caravan will depart San Diego at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13. Upon arrival at the hotel, there will be an afternoon freeride session with the professional riders. Lessons and clinics will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. West Coast Kiteboarding will provide PWC support for all trip participants. After lessons, there will be an organized downwinder, weather permitting. Sunday, lessons will again begin at 11:00 a.m. Lessons will be followed by another freeride session. West Coast Kiteboarding will be on hand until Monday morning, when we will depart at 9:00 a.m. for San Diego.
