I fly both. The 19v is a bit slow, like a 2004 19 fuel maybe??? and the 13v is sweet and very fast! Very stable kites with no bladders to repair. good range. They actually aren't that dissimilar to inflatables in the air.

To fix the problem of breaking struts make solid ones. The separate ones they sell are kind of crap in my opinion. It cost like 10 bucks at a hardware store. Make sure they fit snug in the pockets.

I think these kites are up and coming. They haven't gotten a fair shake due to inflatables ruling the market now, but they're just so damn easy to fly. Don't overfly beginners, easy to relaunch without swimming like mad to flip the kite, and my favorite...no more looking for that damn bladder leak! =D> Nice kites. Don't knock em til ya try em.

Just bought a Venom 13m, can't wait to fly it! Any tips from people who use one or have tried it?

Thanks,
Joe
