Sherman was fun, lit on the 16, a girl on a 4, normals on 11, 12. GOOD swell riding at the end of the ebb.

Hello David,

Alameda was pretty good today. 2 1/2 hours on a 10. Enjoy the sandy beach and company and get everything you can there during the Spring as it will fizzle out and become land 'o big kites soon enough! Then migrate outward to 3rd, Sherman, Crissy and Emery. Hope you got a launch. :P

So I missed Monday, but I made it to SI yesterday. The wind was tricky; there were all different size kites out there but everyone was having fun.

Warm weather and lots o' wind on tap for the weekend; it's gonna be crowded...

Ummm, would it help if I answered: "Cold".

I was in my 3/2 for 2 hours, and spent quite a bit of time in the water since I was a bit underpowered and on a wake-style board for the first time ever.

Which reminds me. In the summer, the water at SI is colder at high tide and warmer at low tide. Is it the same in the winter, or is the Bay actually warmer than the river this time of year. I was there last week at low tide, and the water actually seemed colder than it was this week, at high tide.

Dude come late may I won't be in a wetsuit at sherman. In june I lose it for the bay too.

no wetsuit, what, are you nuts :)

Pablito, the reason I asked, is that the water at sherman can be ice cold in the winter ... due to mountion run off I think ... and I was wondering if that is over for the year ( I have not gone to sherman at all this year so far) ....

But, if you are wearing a 3/2, then that sounds like it is warmer than the bay, I am still in my 4/3 in the bay
