This is exciting news. If we can pioneer this here in the SF Bay, this could become a significant event. We do have the King of the Bay, but it's not a National or PKRA event. As stated in the posting, the wave series at Wadell is gone also. This kind of event looks very interesting and could open up new possibitlities!

I'll likely attend tomorrows opening kickoff but as it's a freestyle session won't join as the foot's still healing, not that I'd be competitive anyway! Some of the other venues look very cool and I, for one, would be stoked to compete in the Buoy Race, Kite Slalom, Team Pursuit Race, Distance Race and Windsurf-Kite Team Challenge.

I'll post more info as it develops.

And you can, there should be some great events in the works. I'm stoked on it and we'll make sure everyone knows about it, so we don't always find out about it afterwards like last year.

Get ready!

They are going to run course, freestyle, and slalom, distance as well.
They are not selecting dates so they can run the best format and adapt it to the wind and tide!

This Thursday will be Course Racing or Freestyle, depending on conditions.

See you there!
