A few wordsÖ. My name is Jason, Iím 31 year old kite-aholic and this is my first meeting. You might find it strange that Iím already a kite-aholic even though Iíve actually ìkitedî before. Besides a couple extra personalities and those voices in my head, I think Iím a pretty normal guyÖ..
Iíve got my land lesson tomorrow and my water lesson next week. Wanted to give you a heads up that thereís another newbie out there. Feel free to bask in the pleasure of watching the new guy flounder around in the water. Any guidance, technical or spiritual possibly accepted.
See you soonÖ
Jason
P.S. We were just kidding about those voices...

True that my friend!! Remember the days when we were walking back up the beach? Thought I would never be able to stay upwind. :)Bob wrote:It is easy to spot the newbies. They are always downwind of me or walking back up the Alameda beach from MacDonald's. The only kiters that are at risk from newbies 10 minutes after they launch is other newbies who can not stay upwind.
