Is there any truth that the outrage is based on the Wipika Wip?

FYI:
I designed the Whip and re-engineered the Amp (Amp+) with Flash Austin as primary R&D rider as part of a limited-term independent design contract with Wipika in 2003. The original 2004 Windwing Outrage was a similar but later design with lower AR and wider wingtips. The 2005 Outrage is an entirely new design with fewer struts and again, wider wingtips. These kites all have drooping wingtips which I first introduced on Lou Wainman's 2003 custom speed kites. I have also designed kites for Slingshot (B-Series foils), Elliot Kite Company (Sigma Sport foils) and Gun Sails (Inverted 'U' inflatable with ram-foil tips.)
