I thought you guys & gals might find this article interesting:
"For nine years a team of naval architects in Copenhagen, Denmark, has been working on a completely new design: a 50,000-ton cargo ship whose diesel engine will be augmented by a set of high-tech sails set on six masts. Canvas is definitely out. Aerofoils are in."
It's nice to know that the on-going advancements in kite design could one day both reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and help mend our ever-deteriorating relationship with the natural environment.
