Does anybody know if it will be fixed? It has been reported as down for several days now on ikitesurf.

Their response time on this has been really slow. They've known about it for months now and don't appear to be moving on it.

This sucks, since I mainly pay for the ikiteSurf membership specifically for this sensor.

(05:53:25 PM) William Gidley: Hi Roman, thank you for reaching out. We plan on making another site visit to the Waddell Bluff sensor in an upcoming San Francisco trip, unfortunately, the sensor maintenance team doesn't have a set date for that yet.
(05:54:21 PM) roman: Now is the prime season, and that meter is pretty much the only reason I pay for the site
(05:55:51 PM) William Gidley: We completely understand and apologize for the inconvenience. To my knowledge the team is waiting for some new equipment before they head out there. I've also made a note to contact you and other concerned members with news/updates on the sensor.

Looks like no ETA. It seems that the sensor worked a few days ago when there was no wind. Once it gets windy, it goes "down"

Yep I got essentially the same email back from them, back in March! My guess is they have no competition for their services on these sensors so they don't need to provide decent service on them. It's like Comcast - they own the hardware so they do what they want. We can either stop paying them or start a competing business and I don't have time for the latter

Looks like there are no close weather underground stations, so iKiteSurf meter is the only one there...

It's back up!
Listing gear is bad, and you should feel bad.
