did you get norm details on this case and who these people are? I know some people do not mind to get pick up by the Coast guard.

Re: Bad behavior at Crissy field
We have had a continuous onslaught of visitors from other bay area sailing sites and international travelers.manplesvanuatu wrote:did you get norm details on this case and who these people are? I know some people do not mind to get pick up by the Coast guard.
Also there is an entire new crew of people here this summer whom now consider themselves locals that think they know Crissy, but have a lot more to learn.
The Coast Guard has reached out to the San Francisco Sailing Association over concerns about safety and the numerous calls for assistance to the Coast Guard Specifically at the Crissy Field area.
Next year there is going to be an official site steward program from the San Francisco Board Sailing Association and the Coast Guard Auxiliary may be on the beach too.
SFBA need volunteers to step up and take turns doing beach duty on the weekends and Holidays.
One upwind on the sandbar area and another at the east end of the beach.
People are in to much of a rush/lazy and not being respectful enough of other beach goers in Launching and Landing, it is all about safety.
