not sure what ikite says, but let me guess...

You are almost correct about ikite, it said "low to weak mid teens." Today is the same from pro forecast, so it might be a good day again. Anyway, I bought a really big board, so it is a GO for me everyday now.

It was ripping all day by Boardsports sensors, I got out at 7pm and I was over powered on my 12, but there were definitely holes out there. Last kite didn't get off the water til like 9.

Usually after an epic day like that in Alameda, the following day will suck like ass. Hopefully I'm wrong, but experience say otherwise.

Was out by the channel markers riding my foil and 9 meter C kite. I guess you definite can ride a C kite with a foil as long as you account for the gust.

Right?! I have to be in the area for practice anyways. My gut says there will be something rideable for sure, but what kind of wind is the question.

Getting butt-hurt about being skunked, WHICH HAPPENS TO ALL OF US, ain't gonna make the wind come back.

Is this thread going to be active for 2018 as well?

I guess so. Damn valentines day made me miss kiting that day. Sunday and Monday look like doable days if you are comfy in gusts.
Listing gear is bad, and you should feel bad.

We have created WhatsApp group last year and we are coordinating our daily go/no go as well as possible spots for kiting. Here is the link for anyone who wants to join:
