I have been setting boards in the back of my truck to drive to the beach. I don't like that because I have to bunch towels at both ends of the boards to prevent them sliding and hitting the cab and I have to reach over the side of the bed to retrieve them. I couldn't find an example of anyone mounting boards in the bed of a truck, so now that I have a solution, I want to share.
I bought the bed rails, which are designed for Toyotas, from KB Voodoo, and I bought some hardware at Home Depot to go with the Dakine surfboard pads.

Re: Kiteboards on Pickup Truck
Nice, I invested in a locking Tonu Cover for my truck, this way I can lock up the board and gear I don't use. Helpful when you ride places like OceanBeach or Toll Plaza where crack heads steal your gear for a fix!
