Alameda Shellgate launch board stolen

Post by Cj_ » Sun Aug 07, 2016 12:11 pm

-visiting kiter here
On Sunday July 31 between 6:30-7:30 PM while riding pretty far out
on my cheap-ass $80 craigslist surfboard in lite winds,my beloved
AXIS "nu skool" 135 twin-tip vanished off the beach at shellgate launch
board was well above high tide line, very quite day 4-5 kiters out
yes, checked with shack multiple times since, walked entire beach
yes,my number in on the board
yes I am pissed.
it appears someone walked off with it
posting here as a heads-up & last ditch effort
please keep an eye out for it,
and keep an eye on your stuff.

A few weeks ago, my board also disappeared off the beach at Alameda.

I lost one last year.... stolen off the beach when i was on the water
Has anyone lost a surfboard?

CDOG
Hasn't your foil gone missing since it seems you lose it every time you ride down wind?

Ya yah very funny
But no never lost a foil...,,
Welll i know where they all are so they can't be lost
And yes as a two year student of foiling
I can go down wind naturally...
Sometimes my gear gos down wind too
Sometimes by itself
..
All the time....

Give me a wide berth im not in control.

Dont leve your un used twin tip on the beach when riding
As someone is jacking all kinds of boards now
