This is just a shout out to the anonymous kiter who reunited me with my board today at Berkeley.
It was about 4.45-5 pm, I think? I was the only kiter out, then Kiter #2 came out on a surfboard. I tried a double backroll and failed, got separated from my board, drank a gallon of bay water trying to body drag back. But, for reasons still to be determined, I'm bad at body dragging.
Anyway you noticed that I wasn't making progress back to my board. You came and got it, dropped it downwind.
Thanks. Otherwise I would probably not have that board with me right now.
Good karma, hope to repay.

Was a great day there yesterday wasnt it?
No problem, I have been there myself and the look of, "where is it?" is a familiar one for me!
See you there again soon!

Berkeley was so good yesterday! We were late to the party and wind blew until the end.

Good vibes all around everyone! Is it just me, or had Berkeley been a little more "on" this summer than previous years? It's been going off a ton recently.

I think the trick for body dragging upwind is to try to imagine your body as your board when you're riding.
Stay stiff, extend your front arm and try to "point" upwind, just like when you're actually riding.
