was listening to the am radio broadcast of the world series last night and the announcer mentioned a "parasailer" going by the entrance to the cove.

the discussion that followed sounded like he might have meant "kite boarder"

did anyone at the game see it?

Wow, that was a session to remember! It was crazy when that 5 minute downpour happened too! Erin and I left the dock at Treasure Island just after the game started. We drove along the south side of the Bay Bridge and at 3/4 of the way across, we rigged up. The drift launch on the 13m went quick and as soon as the kite was in the air, I was in the water. Erin tossed me the foil board off the bow of the Windseeker and I started working upwind towards the cove. It was the 2nd time kiting up that close into the cove so I was familiar with the reaches and on the lookout for wind blocks. I could have gone more upwind but thought this was good enough. I kept passing the Coast Guard boat and the crew was rootin me on! No rescue necessary- Thank you Erin (and Maria) for driving the boat and picking me up after!

Afterwards, the party in the cove was great! Go Giants!
