CKA West Coast Tour Stop #1: Lord of the Wind Baja

Lord of the Wind Baja welcomes CKA to Los Barriles BCS Mexico. Come join us in Baja where the water is warm, the weather is warm and the people are friendly. Mix in great beaches great wind and awesome parties.

Lord of the Wind is offering a special package to CKA:
-Hotel arrangements (Buena Vista Beach Resorts)
-$70 per day single (Includes breakfast)
-$90 per day double and $20 for each additional
-Shuttles to and from beach venues and parties
-Racing clinic to be held Jan 14th
-LOW registration $65 includes racing bib and free awards party

Jan 15th Course racing 11am-5pm

Lord of the Wind competition venues

Course racing:
Course racing will consist of a predesigned upwind, reach and downwind course.
Each contestant will declare if they are using a foil or other board style.
Foil racers will only compete against other foil racers.
Each contestant will race at least 5 times with points awarded based upon finish order.

Slalom racing:
Slalom racing will consist of a downwind course predesigned with at least seven
buoy rounding’s
Each contestant will declare if they are using a foil or other board style.
Foil racers will only compete against other foil racers.
Slalom racing will be run in brackets with eliminations to occur each heat.

Freestyle:
Freestyle competition consists of trick riding judged by qualified experts.
Freestyle competition will be run in brackets with eliminations to occur each heat.

Big Air:
Big Air competition consists of the length of time a rider can stay in the air. Judges will be timing air time.

Big Air competition will be run in brackets with elimination to occur each heat.
Boarder Cross:
Boarder Cross is a unique fun race where obstacles are placed on the course and riders need to jump or avoid the obstacles.
If possible riders will start from a beach start.
Boarder Cross will be run in brackets with eliminations to occur each heat.
