Nice. Looks like the setting sun was a bit of an issue for the GoPro. What size kite were you on?

What size kites were being used that day? What was the aprox wind speed? I don't have a good set of Waddell sized kites so I'm looking for 6m or 9m kite wind.

I was riding my motorcycle down the coast and stopped by to check out the action at Wadell around 4pm. I saw mostly 9 and 10m kites with one 12m, plus a nut on an ancient Wipika of unknown size. Wind speed at the Ikite sensor was about 15mph at 4pm, gusting to about 20. Looks like the wind was mostly in the upper teens the rest of the evening.

Don't know about your guys , but last year I was using a 14 meter LF NRG at Wadell around this time of the year with TT. My friend rode his 15 meter EH freakdog and was a little lit. We weight ~ 150 - 160 lbs so with wind speed between 15 to 20 mph, our kite size was perfect.

With that wind range it all depends what you like doing out there. If you're working the line probably want to be a little U.P. Nice vid!
