Kite Session Tracking / Strava

One of the features I've wanted to bring to the forum is session tracking. It's fun to see how much and where everyone kites, and at times I live vicariously through these sessions when I'm traveling for work or unable to get on the water. Strava is a great tool for this, and we've created a group so everyone can share their sesh and follow other tribal members on all of our epic adventures. Check out the group here: http://www.strava.com/clubs/BAKB
I track my sessions (and bike rides, and backcountry ski tours, etc) with a Garmin fenix. It's waterproof but uses barometric pressure for altitude so don't expect to get the height of your jumps. But, it's really good at tracking falls as the impact generates a huge pressure wave registering a very big altitude change:) Strava supports a number of devices, and my fiance recently got a Tom Tom Multisport. It was quite a bit cheaper and so far does everything the fenix does and is arguably a bit more stylish. Here is a cool animation of our sessions last weekend: http://labs.strava.com/flyby/viewer/#168202056,nPgGCg==
So check it out, feel free to post any questions, and join the club! If we get enough members and the activity feed starts to look interesting, I'll add a widget to the portal homepage so you can see the latest activities of BAK members!
