Like Tony says, I use my knees instead of the trim line to support the board, but apparently both can work. Also, if I'm carrying a board in one hand & need to change directions, a stopper ball can work wonders because it keeps power in the kite & the bar within easy reach when switching hands.
how do you rescue a board?

my favorite way is to buzz the board on your toeside and grab the handle as you pass. if it's straps-down, take an extra pass to flip it over.

Use the extra leash? Maybe not the safest, but I was wearing a helmet.

Which is what I did. Don't have an extra leash but it worked. Definitely not the safest, which is why I started this thread.keithdkd wrote:Use the extra leash? Maybe not the safest, but I was wearing a helmet.
