Poor dude -- he's in the middle of a big field and he goes straight for the ditch / concrete wall. Who do you think is making the sound at the end of the video? him or the guy taping??

Yes, pretty crazy. Hopefully he didn't get hurt, just muddy, wet and humiliated. He could have let go. Alas, the urge to hang on can be strong. One must train themselves not to. Most people entering the sport will learn that in their first lesson, I think.

On second thought, it's possible that in accordance with the true Dutch ethic, he paid good money for that kite and damned if he was going to let it go!
