LMG - Memorial Service - Saturday, May 17, Alameda

Hello everyone,

Most, if not all, or you know by now that last Saturday, May 3, we lost our dear friend Greg Boyington, aka LMG. We'd like to invite you to attend a memorial service in his memory and honor to be held at Crown Beach, Alameda on Saturday, May 17 at 12pm. All who knew and loved Greg are encouraged to attend. LMG was a passionate generous soul, dear friend to many and a key figure in the Bay Area kiteboarding community since the early days.

• Please bring a folding chair or two, if you have extras they would be welcome.
• There will be an opportunity for those who would like to share a humorous story or a tale of LMG's generosity or passion for perfection or a passage they might want to read etc.with those gathered at the memorial.
• This will be a potluck event, if you're interested please bring something simple to share. There will be napkins, plates, cups, etc. provided. Park regulations prevent and consumption of beer or wine.

After the memorial service there will be a Paddle Out Circle in remembrance of Greg and to observe a moment of silence. Bring your SUP or surfboards and perhaps an extra for a friend if you can.

On behalf of all of Greg's family and friends, we hope to see you there.
