Unless you've gotten a steady sea breeze session at Alameda this year, the season hasn't started yet.
Sold all my gear; ebbs and flows; see you next season.

Re: Season Opener?
Where is the true opener? Did someone jinx it? I could swear we usually have some big event by now....like a 35+ day that makes we think twice before I pump up. Is spring really coming?

Re: Season Opener?
Third felt like a summer day yesterday. Nice consistent wind. Not gusty. Fog over the hills and warm weather...
Weird.
Weird.

Sounds like Tuesday is being forecast as the official opener. Get your little kites ready.

Well, it's April 22nd, but here you have it, your 30kts alameda day is here...
Third is already at 24 and Sherman is gusting above 30. And it's not even 8am.
I'm wondering how many beginners are gonna show up at the upper launch with 12m?

Re: Season Opener?
I just bought a kite off of craigslist. The ad said C kites are great beginner kites. Its a Cabrinha blacktip. I think today looks good. Im gonna give it a shot. I watched YouTube regularly and I go to the gym a lot. I think I've got it figured out.le noun wrote:Well, it's April 22nd, but here you have it, your 30kts alameda day is here...
