Perfect Winter Kite Glove

In my quest to find a glove that could replace my beloved GUL Delta 2mm glove, I think I've finally found the next best thing... Mystic's new Smooth 2mm glove. The only thing wrong with these gloves IMO is the sizing is off. I had to get the XL size. I usually fit size medium in most gloves.
If you're in the market for some new gloves to keep your hands warm and you don't like your hands & forearms fatiging, I highly recommend checking these new Mystic gloves out. (Btw, I have no affiliation with Mystic, I just really like these gloves)

Do people kite here in the winter? Isn't it too cold? Ja ja ja

I notice my forearms get a lot more tired kiting when wearing gloves, it's seems much more tiring on my grip strength. Is that a known phenomenon?

Yup .. forearm fatigue
I like dish washing gloves keeps the wind chill down
And I can pick up a dime....

We've been over this before
But to each his own

gloves are okay for suring, i actually dont like them for kiting as your forearms get tired too quickly. I have the Mistyc gloves and they dont do the trick for kiting...now it's personal.

What is up with the forearm thing - what causes that?

I got these for Christmas. Very flexible, dipped in neoprene, but I haven't had them on the water yet:

constricting the blood flow in your hands I think
if you get bored try dishwashing gloves but not thin ones look for thicker ones
plus you can take them off on the fly if you need to

I think it has more to do with resistance. The gloves are made straight or slighlty curved which means that you have to squeeze against them to hold the bar. It's only 2mm and sounds like nothing but it becomes tiring after some time since your muscles aren't used to it. I use my gloves every surf session and it is not tiring...now when trying to hold a bar for 30 minutes, that's another story.

I should have been more clear about what makes this glove so great imo. I find it ironic that the majority of the the responses are about forearm fatigue. This is one of the best features about this new glove. The palms are built with a thin Amara (syn leather) that doesn't cause the fatigue like gloves that have neoprene on the palm (like every other glove brand). The back of the hand is super stretchy, smooth-skin neoprene that's windproof and flexes really well to also prevent any arm fatigue like most other gloves. The combination of the Amara and stretchy, windproof neoprene makes it perfect imo!
