I watched the whole thing and two things struck me - how the guy was perhaps way more stubborn than he should have been under the circumstances and how provincial, territorial and harsh the surf culture can be. I feel bad for the stubborn guy but also how the local crew have to carry on with an ongoing sense of hostility and protectiveness, it sucks. Of course we don't know the whole story, but it looks like it sucks and lots of people visually feasting on the situation...eat turkey not sensation!
