My big golf bag with all my kite gear in it was stolen out of my car Friday night in San Francisco.

Sorry to hear but If you have renter's insurance, you can claim the stolen items from your insurance company.

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that someone found my kite gear and called me up!! I got everything back tonight for $150!! :-D

Story? You "bought" it off the thief for $150? Glad you got your stuff back, sounds like it's pretty rare for kites to make a reappearance.
