Alameda 16 kts in SeptemberHad a great sesh today in A town...kinda freaky...felt like May. Been kiting for two seasons now so this seems unusual, yes?
Re: Alameda 16 kts in SeptemberI know! Right?!
Wish I'd been out there, just drooling at station readings. Sold all my gear; ebbs and flows; see you next season.

Re: Alameda 16 kts in SeptemberI know, was working in Alameda today and felt the old familiar pattern stirring - kiting wasn't an option today, but I remembered the days from years ago of having gear in the truck and being ready to go at the slightest sign. I even checked wind in the afternoon and saw 16 which is a great number at Alameda, good wind...
Re: Alameda 16 kts in SeptemberI thought about Alameda but opted for the Toll Plaza. Awesome day--I was powered up on my 9m. You know it's good when you finally have to stop because you're tired, not because the wind died.
Re: Alameda 16 kts in September
I was looking at Berkeley readings and thinking about how amazing TP must have been! I wonder if you get any better view of the area from the new Bay Bridge span? Sold all my gear; ebbs and flows; see you next season.

Re: Alameda 16 kts in Septembernot going to jinx it by saying how good it was at berkeley yesterday...
Re: Alameda 16 kts in SeptemberAlready in the high teens and gusting into 20s at Alameda. Maybe the new bay bridge opened some kind of intergalactic wind portal.

Got a pretty good view. Apparently the new bridge is good for the wind Sent from my XT875 using Tapatalk 2 "A ship is safe in harbor, but that's not what ships are built for"
