Yesterday's session at Third embraced the high level of survival our community has; I was happy to be a part-of with two others towing-in a stranded kiter after his kite failed from out in the channel. His kite was shredded and was taken-into the beach while we took turns towing him in which made it easier, A Big Thank You to our Water Community!! excellent hand signals, kite distance, skill it all added up to a safe return.

Re: "Thank You"
stranded kiter here. my kite failed way out by the channel windmeter on an ebb tide and i wasn't getting very far on my own. i'm guessing it would have taken me until 7 or 8pm to swim/kick back. i was really impressed at how helpful everyone was: grabbing my kite, bodydrag-towing me in, and basically sacrificing their fun time to help me out. thanks so much! very glad to be part of such a great community at 3rd.

Re: "Thank You"
People complain about spots getting overcrowded but on the bright side with the right attitude and a spirit of looking out for each other it means way more on water support / rescue if stuff really hits the fan
Cool to hear stories like this, nice work 3rd
