Hi all,

I was thinking about kiting the Sacramento River, from its end (launching from somewhere between Rodeo and Vallejo), going all the way to Sherman Island. From the iKitesurf stations along the way, it seems it would be windy all the way, and I thought it could make on hell of a downwinder.
Has anyone ever done that? Do you know what the boat traffic is like (is there too much for this idea to be safe) ? What are your thoughts on this ?

Its never windy enough for fat people in Benicia and train bridge is low ::)
