I know this comes up every year and nobody listens anymore anyways but I thought I would post again though with this heatwave maybe it doesn't even matter. Unless you have pretty killer kite skills do the community a favor and go somewhere else or do what you do when your not on the water ( put your beer goggles on, take a couple bong rippers, beat off, whatever) The beach is going to be packed with kids and East Bay Homies. I have learned from experience sometimes they aren't quite as friendly after a couple drinks of Hennessy and probably don't want some beginner dumping a kite on their head.

thanks for keeping after this. it is an issue. Please dont plan on kiting alameda 4th or memorial day. Or really any day its a zoo with light wind. No that stupid people read this.
