Whatever you do, don't go to Waddell - the annual eastside / westside rivalry plays out there every year on the 4th and you wouldn't want to be caught in the middle of it

I just want to make it clear that I'm not joking around nor trying to deter anyone so we can have it all to ourselves! SS$$

Looks like Sherman could be setting up for the weekend.

from ikite
On Wednesday night or maybe Thursday, look for the marine surge to arrive and bring brisk WSW winds during the day Thursday reaching near to low 20s for the Central and East Bay and probably Sherman.

It will be a zoo for sure but I am more worried about kooks and speedo wearing euros

if you're so worried about that then why are you writing an optimistic forecast? because its not gonna be very good inland. Just insufferable heat.

Good reminder that i need to find my speedo tho cause I forgot it last year. Its time to sport my stars and stripes at high staff again

Sherman was amazing on the 4th - warm, relatively steady 10m wind, warm water, lots of old friends to kite with on the water and hang with back on land, very stoked, verbal, and appreciative peanut galleries on both the first and second islands to show off for, an awesome and unexpected dinner of top-notch halibut for those of us (well, at least for me) who didn't bring our own dinner (thanks Dan and Michelle!!!), watching the Pittsburg fireworks from the parking lot very comfortably dressed in shorts and T-shirt.

For me it was the best day I've had out there in years. I don't know how you could ask for anything more unless you need waves or to be lit on a 7m or 8m to have a great day of kiting.

I hope everybody who was somewhere else was lucky enough to have half as much fun as I did.

I will go with Bob on his report, the wind was smooth and it was fun to see all of my old friends out kiting and caring for there kids.Fireworks were killer and looks like it will be good again today.

The Force was with us on 4th of July.
