Volunteers NEEDED -beach clean up Coyote San Mateo Sun 6/23

http://boardsportsschool.com/2013/06/vo ... t-sun-623/

We are organizing a beach clean up at Coyote Point this Sunday 6/23 8am sharp!

Our main goal will be to remove rocks that have accumulated near both sand bag ramps used to access the water. This access point is used by windsurfers, kitesurfers, and stand up paddlers. We can all benefit by having less rocks to step on or damage our gear on. If you use this site or want to help out, we would love for you to participate!

What: Beach Access Improvement - Small Rock Removal on beach at Coyote Point

When: Sunday 6/23

Time: 8am sharp, meet at Boardsports Shop

- coffee / donuts supplied by Boardsports!

Location: Boardsports Coyote Point Park, San Mateo, 1603 Coyote Point Drive, San Mateo, CA 94401

What to Wear: heavy duty sneakers that can get sandy, long sleeve pants/shirts, sunblock

What to bring: we have hot shower facilities so bring a towel and clean clothes to change into afterwards

Please also bring:

1. strong helpers willing to pick up and load small rocks onto wheel barrels

2. volunteers with wheel barrels - we need a few wheel barrels to haul the rocks up off the beach - please bring any size wheel barrels

3. heavy duty garbage bags or burlap sacks for smaller rocks

We will provide morning coffee/donuts and a LUNCH BBQ to all volunteers that help out in any way!!

Thanks!
Jane & Rebecca
