Thanks to all that responded!!!
These two posts brought up some questions...
Does Sonny have the ability to match fabric from every brand/year/model of kite?
I think I can also "send" my kite to Sonny. Given the fact that I live in the Valley and will have to send the kite out, would you still go with Sonny or something more like Airtime? ;-)
I can match most colors but most of the colors are not exact match because the manufacturers dye their own colors now and I cannot get them, not even from them unless I purchase 100's of yards of it. You can text or call me at 650-520-7654 if you have any further questions.

One more thing, if you have Slingshot then Airtime might be able to match it perfectly because they were working together. At least they used to.

Quality Repair Service?

Post by sc-surfer » Sun Jun 23, 2013 8:56 pm

I personally am not all stoked on airtime based on my dealings with them but YMMV.
Sonny did color match the repair on my kite and unless you know what you are looking for you wouldn't notice the repair.

I've had good luck with Airtime.
It's about $17 to ship the kite each way UPS
Total round trip time was ~ 1 week.
They matched the color on my SS kite perfectly.
I'm a satisfied customer.

Sonny did a great repair job on my 10M Rebel and turned it around fast. I shipped it to him and then picked it up today in time for a great session at 3rd ave.
