I certainly will. I already alerted my electronic guys at work to make sure I get the force sensor signal matching to the IO of the logger. Will keep you posted.

Math can only take you so far is my conclusion from all calculations you can do. Good to have the basics sorted out but then you just have to test and see what you get.

MEat weight scale, well you actually wold need 3 two for your arms and one for your loop. Thats why I plan to go straight for each line, so no more discussions after that.

Do Reynolds number apply to kites?
RE = v*p*D/u
I am getting reynolds numbers order of magnitudes smaller than 2300 - the transition from laminar to turbulent flow.
However I am assuming wind flow is turbulent when you can feel its gusty and can see kites edges flapping while in flight.
Whatsup with this?

Does anyone have/have access to a 'meat scale" ( they are also used to weight other things) or force meter I could use or buy in to? Would need it for about an hour. 500lb or more would be ideal.
