Hey Ollie, it's been windy in the morning lately in Berkeley marina.
I've been riding marina bay before but never Berkeley. I'm used on being on my own at third or coyote (I'm usually the first one in the water), but I'm wondering if people show up early at the Berkeley?
It would be neat to have somebody to give me the onsite idea and ways of the land instead of just reading the "guide and location" about Berkeley on this forum.
If tomorrow blows like today, I'm planning on being there by 11am. (usually, if there is wind that early at coyote or third, I have the water to myself for an hour or two before people show up.)

11 kinda early and coincides with high tide
You can see some locals start showing up around 1 if it blowing
You may want to rig a static line for self landing when you come in
do go up and over to h.s.loardships restaurant and jump in front of the window
also truck over to the toll plaza and check out k.g.b

Bust though the hole in the pier and enjoy the Olympic Sailing circle

Well, SI looks promising tomorrow am. I might stop by Berkeley on my way back though.

Today will be windy, but the fog layer looks pretty deep so it will be better later rather than earlier, even if it is windy, no blue sky until afternoon.

Yesterday was pretty good though, I got down there around 4, but cdog has got it right, the retirees and flex-schedule guys often get down there as early as 1, but 2 is more common...

For a great Berkeley experience, try to get out on a low tide to enjoy the sandbar action upwind and to the left where super flat water develops between fun rollers in 1' deep water...
